Preface: I just started editing in Wikipedia, so there is a good chance I do not understand the 'significance' hurdle for articles.
It seems that there are a number of NFL practice squad player pages within Wikipedia, if Fontel Mines does not deserve a page, shouldn't the other pages also be deleted?-Footkick02:30, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If you can find "outside" sources that say he is important now (not so much in the future, but right now), then he is notable. "Outside" would be an (online) article in a newspaper about him. The article has to do more than just mention him. Something like this one, but not on the Chicago Bears' own page, would be ideal. Speciate05:24, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
