I think I covered most of the ground, even the stuff about his controversial legacy at Johns Hopkins. It would be great if someone sat down and wrote up more about his work for Yuan Shikai, that's really worth having up there.--Amban 15:45, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, but Yuan was more or less a dictator by 1913 already, so there were plenty of other things to fight about. Yuan Shikai is a really reviled person in Chinese history...--Amban 17:48, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
