FG Olympia[edit]

The original FG Olympia link was removed by an unsigned user. However, there does seem to be an un-official FG in Olympia resulting from a slip there. I add the link in as a result. ---Wolfe 06:08, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • actually, olympia free geek is not an authorized free geek, if the org even exists at all. it has split up. see this page. Jon Lon Sito 07:54, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • someone added back in olympia again. i took it out again. to the best of my knowledge it is still not an official "Free Geek", as backed up by these free geek documents: [1], [2], and [3]. (in addition to the link i have above.) specifically, the third page states "Some groups that are not authorized to use the name Free Geek." (and then lists olympia) Jon Lon Sito (talk) 09:27, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oregonian articles[edit]

If someone has the time and ability to do so, they should go through The Oregonian archives, find their articles on Free Geek and use them to add references to this article. Jason McHuff (talk) 23:47, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Scope of article[edit]

Does this article refer only to the mothership (in Portland) or does it refer to all of the Free Geeks? Gobonobo T C 05:25, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

An excellent question. In my opinion it might be best to focus on the mothership, and have a section that mentions efforts in other places. -Pete (talk) 08:18, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
