I cannot find any substantiation of the Wikipedia article assertion "Neither FAI nor free or total testosterone measurements should be interpreted in isolation; as a bare minimum, gonadotropin levels should also be measured." I have searched the NIH PubMed index of medical journal articles, but I found no substantiation, at least not in the context of men. Can someone provide substantiation? If not, should this assertion be deleted from the article?

This seems to be added by 68.146.75.110 along with quite a bit of other text. So you may also wish to check https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/w/index.php?title=Free_androgen_index&action=historysubmit&diff=317024151&oldid=309720069. Also this is not encyclopedic style, Wikipedia is not supposed to be an adviser for how to do things. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 05:59, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Free T testing expensive and not readily available?[edit]

I would like to see a source for this as I personally have had total T and free T done for less than 30 euros. Anditres (talk) 11:53, 31 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
