Rename this article[edit]

The translation of the name is very wrong. Aqa-Bass (Chechen: Акха-Басс, Russian: Акха-Басс) is the correct name for the specific aul of this page. Galanchozh or Galain-Chazh (Chechen: ГаланчӀож, Галайн-ЧӀаж), (Russian: Галанчож) - is the area with Aqa-Bass and the surrounding auls. I think it is right to rename this page to Aqa-Bass (translated from the Chechen Latin script of the name), Aka-Bass or Akkha-Bass (translated from the Russian name) or a similar translation of the sounds. There is a page already exists about the historical area called Galain-Chazh which can be worked on.

The wrong translation into other languages on Wikipedia looks like it came from the Chechen page for the specific aul linking to the Russian page, which is about the specific aul but is named after the wider area in the Russian translation of the name. In fact, such a problem was noted on the Russian article talk page, saying that there is no such village as Galanchozh and that this is the name of the wider area. The message was left on 12 March 2016 with no reply or update as from the time of this comment by me.

If there is no opposite opinion after 3 days from this comment, then I will move the page to Aqa-Bass, it is the closest English translation from Chechen of the correct name. - Sail 95 (talk) 15:35, 1 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
