Chip in 405?[edit]

What's the model of the GPS chip in the new Forerunner 405? Anyone know?--169.233.102.41 (talk) 17:17, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The 305 and 405 both use a SiRFstarIII according to http://www.goarticles.com/cgi-bin/showa.cgi?C=1649742 Could you work that into the article perhaps? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.29.83.91 (talk) 02:37, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Additional functionality[edit]

No mention of Heart Rate Monitor (HRM) strap. No mention of foot pod unit (for cadence, or distance when GPS unreliable). No mention of connection to bike speed/cadence unit. No mention that it's waterproof.

Coordinates[edit]

The sentense "The watch uses the hh.mm.mmmm (hours, minutes, and minute decimals) coordinate format." should be changed to The watch uses the hh.mm.mmmm (DEGREES, minutes, and minute decimals) coordinate format. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.4.16.229 (talk) 10:20, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
