This was a landmark case in the gay rights movement. The case and the book received major media coverage (see added external links). Currently a screenplay adaptation by [Jeffrey Stanley] is in development at Pink Slip Pictures as mentioned in his recent bio at http://blog.amtrak.com/amtrakresidency/ .
