This movie summary is wrong![edit]

I just watched it. The money in the locker is from drug smuggling, and Escobar is after it, trying to get it from Bo. There are numerous other errors in the summary. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.143.1.27 (talk) 04:18, 4 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ditto. Though Chili and Bear "make nice" with each other, it isn't clear that there has been an agreement to double-cross Catlett. Bear's pushing Catlett to his death comes as something of a surprise. WilliamSommerwerck (talk) 14:00, 3 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. According to the history of the page, the original summary was much better. But it was changed in 2016 November. Now, although Escobar is mentioned in the cast, there is Escobar in the summary. Besides the money in the airport locker is not Devoe's $300000. I'll call the editor. Reference for Travolta's Initial Reluctance[edit]

I found this story repeated in two places. Possibly someone can find a better reference. I am not going to conclude that these are "reliable sources", but here they are in case someone wants to cite them. Name[edit]

Shouldn't Ray Bones' surname be spelled "Barbone" and not "Barboni"? The script makes a joke of the chauffeur asking him if he " is Mr. Bar-bone" Kotukunui (talk) 03:10, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fugetaboutit. It's spelled Barboni by IMDb, TCM and AMG. Clarityfiend (talk) 04:25, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Note, it's also that way in the credits. Also, "Devoe" is so-spelled in the credits. Tkotc (talk) 04:00, 19 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The article would benefit from some editing such that names are used consistently. For example, Chili Palmer is "Chili" in some places and "Palmer" in others; Harry Zimm suffers the same fate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.165.224.81 (talk) 14:57, 19 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Length of plot summary[edit]

The plot "summary" is 1,327 words long -- that is almost twice as long as the recommended length. Invertzoo (talk) 13:21, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, as often happens, it was slowly expanded over the course of the last 2 years. I restored an older version from before all the bloat. ---The Old JacobiteThe '45 13:37, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
