He famously spilt his drink all over himself and desk before going into a live link on Newsroom South East shown on BBC's Auntie Bloomers (Out-takes show). [1] What caused him to laugh was a picture shown by a colleague to which he replied "I loved to be in the police station when they showed them that picture".

Does anyone know what the picture was?

This is utter rubbish - I was there! If you get a chance to watch the clip you will see that Guy was gazing into the distance waiting for his cue to go live in about 30 seconds and simply relaxed his grip on the polystyrene cup. What is surprising is that, since the trail he was about to present was live, both the incident and accompanying director's talkback were recorded at all.

NewsRoom Southeast[edit]
