Too bad I cannot find anymore where I found that number when I originally created this article. I could find the catchment area now, but sadly that source doesn't say anything about length. The length of the Hönne in Balve 13,2 km , in Menden 11,4 km -> this means 24,6 km. 8,4 km for Neuenrade and Fröndenberg? I would say this could not be possible. --Weissmann 10:18, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I just found that number, and as it's from a office of NRW it should be rather authorative. [1] says thre Hönne has 27.8 km within the Märkischer Kreis, that'd mean another 5.2 for Fröndenberg. Haven't checked a map if that'd reasonable however, but it's the best I could find with google. Probably have to check some offline sources like books as well. andy 11:42, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm, still not sure about the numbers. As the Ruhr marks the boundary between Menden and Froendenberg, and thus also the boundary of the Maerkischer Kreis, the Hoenne is completely within MK. Thus the two numbers directly contradict themself... andy 12:49, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

But it ends near Fröndenberg, doesn't it. Even though it does not touch the area of the town Fröndenberg, its mouth is much nearer to the town center of Fröndenberg than to Menden. andy 11:14, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
