Untitled

[edit]

I see that he has a French sounding name, and is from Brooklyn, is he of Haitian extraction? Isaac Crumm 07:42, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He's 50 now, but the page says he's 49. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.210.146.149 (talk) 07:27, 8 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Lost

[edit]

Has Harold actually left the lost cast or is he returning because i feel if he has left then it should be noted in the part where is lost dates are. 88.110.139.70 15:38, 18 February 2007 (UTC)Black6989[reply]
It's still up in the air whether he is returning or not. See here spoilerfix link and scroll to 06/26. For the moment it'll have to be left open and updated as lost progresses. --Harveymuso 02:46, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Junior?

[edit]

What makes him "Harold Perrineau, Jr."? His father's name is Harold Williams. When he used Williams as his last name, he was Harld Williams, Jr., but when he uses Perrineau, he's not a Junior. +Angr 20:24, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Harold in "My Humps"

[edit]

Near the end of the Black Eyed Peas' "My Humps" video is a guy that looks like Harold. I removed the claim in this article that that's him, but if anybody can find an authoritative citation that it's him then maybe we could put it back into the article. What is with all the blog spam pointing to this page? My blog is getting HAMMERED with spam pointing to this wiki entry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.89.96.66 (talk) 06:32, 26 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lost Spoilers

[edit]

Why on earth are there spoilers for Lost in an article about the actor? Mark Hamill doesn't have friggin' spoilers about Empire Strikes Back in his article. There is no need to talk about plots on an actor page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.61.98.159 (talk) 22:58, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

i deleted one of the spoilers, it's just not necessary. 206.248.133.121 (talk) 04:43, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Eaten by a Bear?

[edit]

At the end of the "Acting Career" section and under The Edge in "Filmography" there appears to be some pretty weak trolling going on. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.131.138.42 (talk) 18:43, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

birth name

[edit]

If his name was Harold Perrineau at birth then changed to Williams then back to Perrineau, why is it listed that he was born Harold Williams. The article contradicts itself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.76.84.2 (talk) 20:08, 11 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed it does, my friend; in fact, it makes little to no sense at all. This apparent conflict appears to be sourced to Harold himself, having made contradictory statements at different points in his acting career during interviews. A little digging, and the most reliable sources I've been able to find (namely, his birth records) indicate that he was born with the name "Williams", and only changed it when he decided to pursue acting. As the article implies (but without sources stating it this directly, so neither can we), he adopted his mother's maiden name in order to stand out in his auditions. In other words, his name was never Perrineau until he decided to legally change it as an adult. I plan to do a re-write when I get the opportunity, complete with citations. He has also had a few controversies (i.e., alleging racist motives when LOST killed off his character, and this later being disputed by nearly all of the cast and crew) that are well sourced, and more than fall within the allowances of BLP. Also, it appears that he and his wife have split as of this year; while it's repeated often enough that it's more than likely true, I had a hard time finding anything but gossips rags talking about it. I just sort of stumbled on this article after re-watching an episode of LOST, and my interest in him is next to nil, but it does indeed bug me a bit when there's conflicting information, and bios haven't been updated in ages. As I said, I'll make an edit when I sign in tomorrow, most likely. In the meantime, anyone watching this page, and feel free to "beat me to it" if you wish — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.185.154.10 (talk) 08:05, 11 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

French origins?

[edit]

Perrineau is definitively a French name. Does he have French origins? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A01:E35:8A8D:FE80:8876:D39D:C7B5:89A1 (talk) 14:30, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Add reference to catchphrase "Where's my son?"

[edit]

Should we add reference to the actor's common phrase "where's my son?!" that originated in Lost across many episodes of his dialogue, and since in characters he's played, for example in "The Rookie"? 203.46.132.214 (talk) 06:25, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Can you provide a link to a reliable source that discusses the catchphrase? Cullen328 (talk) 06:37, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
