This bio needs wholesale revision or deletion[edit]

This page is inappropriate for Wikipedia. It's a loving testament to the man, probably written by a family member, rather than a dispassionate account of his life.

Among other things, the section on his personal life states, without attribution, that he and his second wife "embraced each other's children as their own and the two families were melded into one." Nothing is mentioned about an item in the New York Times (2/9/65, p. 34) stating that his first wife had filed a divorce complaint charging "extreme cruelty." Schafer may or may not have been good to his second wife and bad to his first, but it's clear that, whatever the truth of the situation, the author of the page was simply attempting to paint him in the best light possible. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Omegasigmatau (talkcontribs) 00:03, 26 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Why people get divorced and marry someone else are multiple. The reason(s) for the divorce are also as varied. As a family member, I can state the Harold was a very kind and giving individual. No matter what some lawyer might assert - true or not - for legal and financial reasons. "Omegasigmatau" seems to have a problem with opinions from people who knew Harold best. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.195.108.198 (talk) 17:16, 3 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
