A fact from Herdla Airport appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 6 December 2014 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that in 1942, a drunken pilot crashed his plane at Herdla Airport in occupied Norway, burning down the operations center?
The article states that "At the time of the end of World War II in Europe on 8 May 1945, there were twenty-one Fw 28s, one Bf 110 and two or three Storchs at Herdla."
