Organization[edit]

I reviewed this article as part of the Wikipedia:New pages patrol and had made some observations last night. I returned today to try to help out some instead of just tacking some tags onto it and leaving.

I am having trouble following the chronology of the history. Some sentences appear to be out of order. I made some quick subsections to help organize it but they are only suggestions. Perhaps if more subsections were used it would help keep the text in chronological order.

The article also deals with dual date systems so I offer this Manual of Style (Wikipedia:MOS) and shortcut WP:ERA for assistance. Let me know if you need any help.

I had also marked some sections as needing reference improvements. I assumed good faith (WP:AGF) on their verifiability but the referencing is inconsistent throughout the article. I suggest that as you work on a section at a time and complete the references for that section before you move to the next one. Here is some information to help with sources. WP:GUIDELINES is the top of that area and WP:SOURCE is more specific. Help:Contents gives a handy search box to find help in the massive help system. My talk page has even more links to references.

Good luck and welcome to Wikipedia. Veriss (talk) 20:11, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Categories and infobox[edit]

I added this article so a few categories in Category:Maharashtra. You may want to look them over to be sure they are appropriate. Make whatever changes you like. I also copied the info box from the city page Beed, India but it may have more info then you want. Let me know if you need help trimming it down. Veriss (talk) 21:16, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
