Support 1st, oppose 2nd, and move the disambiguation page to primary - this is the long-term best way to avoid incorrect wikilinks, and its hard to think of a derivative work as primary over its inspiration. If consensus skews towards the "no primary" option, I would likewise support the first move, amend the second move to How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (disambiguation) → How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and leave How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (musical) unchanged, per Netoholic. I should also clarify my above statement regarding Gone with the Wind — from 2001 to 2005, the Gone with the Wind article detailed both the book and the film but, following creation of the separate film article in 2005 and then the disambiguation page in 2006, the book remained as the grandfathered primary topic until 2016. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 09:01, 14 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Rreagan007: Looking at the pageviews, it seems that the musical is the primary. I'm presuming that many people went to How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and then went to the musical article, so the difference should be even larger. Support original nomination. The musical is clearly the primary topic, so no need to stick the disambig page at the base article name. Pageview stats show more hits for the musical than the other two pages combined - and that's with the book at the base title, meaning that there are some spurious hits for the book that immediately click over to the musical, so the actual difference in views is even higher.
