Picture[edit]

Hi, I have a picture that I think is a bit more clear and colourful. Would you mind if I uploaded it? And how do I do it?

Good - the current photo isn't so hot. Start here: Special:Upload - DavidWBrooks 15:07, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The picture that is on the page right now looks completely photoshopped, the sky is a really fake blue and it contrasts highly with the reflections in the water. Plus the fact that there has never been a blue sky over Huacachina. I'm gonna wait for a week for answers and then change it to something more appropriate. There used to be a better photo, a long time back. I agree that this one looks faked - or, at the very least, crummy. (Heck, I took better ones with my point-and-shoot.) If you've got a better one, please use it, but don't forget to make it clear that it can be used here, or the photo-Nazi bots will remove it. - DavidWBrooks (talk) 12:32, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Source[edit]

The actual source for that article is another article dated 2013 ... it's just a typical Huffpost cut-and-paste ... what's the situation now, does anybody know? - DavidWBrooks (talk) 13:00, 26 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Marino Morikawa[edit]

Does anybody know if Marino Morikawa actually did anything at Huacahina? I can't find any good confirmation online. Having a three-year-old item saying he plans to do something seems silly. - DavidWBrooks (talk) 19:44, 16 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

18 months later, no news. I've added a sentence that the project doesn't seem to have gone forward. - DavidWBrooks (talk) 16:13, 26 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
