can you cycle on this motorway? I am considering riding to work from macgregor to oxley, but the only route that is within a good distance (11km) goes along this motorway, Thanks.--115.64.208.203 (talk) 16:54, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Exit Closures[edit]

Some exits on the motorway have been closed permanently according to the government. These include the Chalk Street exit Outbound at Redbank and the Brisbane Road exit Inbound at Redbank. These are the only exits (to my knowledge) that have been permanently closed so far. The McEwan/Tessman Street intersection at Riverview is also slated for closure within the next year (2011). I would remove them myself from the table, but that template doesn't like me for some reason. Jdenm8 (talk) 02:28, 10 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed some more exits have been removed, but not in the table. The Arthur Gorrie Remand Centre exit (Inbound) has been moved to a service road, all exits surrounding Wacol are now connected to one-way service roads with an exit/merge at either end, the Viking Drive, Logan Motorway and both Goodna exits (Queen Street and Bertha Street) (outbound) are now all one exit at Gailes, The Stuart Street exit (outbound) has been closed permanently and the Collingwood PArk exit has been reconfigured (I'm not sure how it would be classified. Extent of this road[edit]

The TMR reference map shows the transition from Ipswich Road to Ipswich Motorway as occurring immediately to the south of the Kenway Street intersection in Rocklea. This is shown as the end point for Ipswich Road in its article. This article needs changing to match.

While the TMR list of roads shows road U16 ending at Goodna the reference map shows it ending in Gailes, concurrent with the change from M7 to M2. I have shown it as Goodna in the article, as it is possibly correct, eg. it might end at the Gailes / Goodna boundary (Woogaroo Creek). Downsize43 (talk) 23:01, 24 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
