Untitled[edit]

This article in its current form is misleading. Information about the Brythonic (chiefly Welsh) Bards needs to be added. The Black Book of Carmarthen; The White Book of Rhydderch; The Red Book of Hergest; The Book of Taliesin; Aneurin the Satirist; Dafydd ap Gwilym; Iolo Goch, etc. In Wales Bards were held in very high regard - usage of the word is subtly but significantly different to the Gaelic.

Agreed—which is why I moved the article from "Bardic poetry" to "Irish bardic poetry". There is some more information in the Bard article. Cheers, Bjenks (talk) 16:55, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
