Shorten/Split Article[edit]

Split I think that this article should be shortened or split, as it is quite lengthy.--Jax 0677 (talk) 18:33, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Can't be shortened, any suggestion for splitting up? — Bill william comptonTalk 19:35, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
One article per section?--Jax 0677 (talk) 02:21, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Never seen any article like that. Please refer similar articles, United States at the 2008 Summer Olympics, England at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, etc. It would require great efforts and lobbying around. — Bill william comptonTalk 03:37, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Anything is possible, just need to consult with several people I guess.--Jax 0677 (talk) 03:48, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, you can consult with anyone. To be honest, as a coordinator of Asian Games task force, I don't endorse the idea. People won't like to ramble on 42-odd articles. — Bill william comptonTalk 04:39, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
My comments at China at the 2010 Asian Games apply here as well.

Recent merge[edit]

Articles such as Japan at the 2010 Asian Games (A–B) appear to have been pasted in (without proper attribution), leaving us with two parallel articles on each part of the alphabet, which are likely to diverge in content over time. Should we perform a proper WP:MERGE and replace the alphabetical articles by redirects, undo the copy-pasting, or is there a better solution? Certes (talk)
