I think[edit]

democracy can only be strong if it has strong government and a strong grou of citizenship; I think.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.129.54.88 (talk) 00:14, 14 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Cited the original Atlantic Monthly article[edit]

This shows "Jihad vs. McWorld" was published under that title first in March 1992, before the 1993 Ritzer work. --Petercorless 06:10, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jihad[edit]

He is a "political" "scientist" ! really a scientist ! The fact that he describes the word "jihad" to mean 'tribalism' tells me he is quack trying to cash in from dumb Americans. The word Jihad has nothing to do with "tribalism". This is a utter misuse of the word. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.211.150.9 (talk) 18:26, 16 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Write your own summary[edit]

I strongly oppose the idea of just copying the blurb into Wiki without even giving ANY information on where the quote is taken from in the main text. Write your own summary. ---ml. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.13.105.88 (talk) 03:47, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
