Quite in contradistinction to all the other sources cited so far (BBC and others) this new source is not merely an article ABOUT Mr Cryan but it is an article based on an actual interview WITH Cryan himself. Therefore we have good reason to assume that Mr Cryan HIMSELF has authorised the relevant parts, especially those about his private life !

Therefore it is the City of SUNDERLAND instead of (the miserable place of) Harrogate which has to be inserted as Mr John Cryan's birthplace !
