Other than the name of the extra who sued Stan Laurel being similar, what is the evidence its the same person? Timing of release of the film suggests its highly unlikely. Nickm57 (talk) 07:09, 24 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Aware as I am that this anecdote appears on the sometimes unreliable IMDB, I propose to delete the reference to being an extra in Babes in Toyland. Why - a) The extra referred to is a John D. Wood, a name this John Wood never used. b) As he notes, he broke into English pictures after being approached by Warners (UK) and appearing in some UK quota quickies. In the March 7 1936 interview cited, he specifically says he knew these would never be seen in Hollywood, which apparently pleased him. His first role in Hollywood was for RKO on Pompeii.Nickm57 (talk) 04:27, 26 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
