Suggested Changes to John Young (baseball) Early Life[edit]

In researching John Young, I've found his early life as chronicled on Wikipedia to be incomplete. Based on documentation provided by Mount Carmel Crusaders Student Profiles, which I've cited below. I would like to include a more accurate portrayal:

Young was born in Los Angeles, California, and graduated from Mount Carmel High School where he was Student Body Vice President and All-Catholic League baseball and basketball player.[1]. His high school baseball performance was impressive enough that upon graduation, the Cincinnati Reds drafted Young in the 27th round of the 1967 Major League Baseball Draft[1]. However, Young declined a contract with the Reds, instead pursuing a collegiate baseball career at Chapman University in Orange, California, where he played on the 1968 Chapman NCAA Division II National Championship Baseball Team[1].

Any help in making these changes permanent will be appreciated. Thanks! Enlightenbiz (talk) 02:51, 19 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
