About this person's actual age[edit]

I've noticed on Spanish and Italian page his birth date is June 8th 1961 and different from the English page which shows June 8th 1962. Could anyone give a confirmed source on that？Thank you. Scherbenmeer (talk) 13:17, 7 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I see this has been a mystery and a subject of speculation for years. August 6th was stated in English wikipedia and June 8th in most, if not every other one. So I went to Mexican Football Federation website and it states that his birthdate is 6 Agosto 1961 and states his age (as of writing of this messg.) is 56 anos 10 meses. I went on and made edits to wikipedias in other languages (Mexican Football Federation should have credible information right?). Then, sometime after I went to FIFA website (which also should have credible info?) and found his profile there and it states June 8th 1961. So, if both credible official websites state different things where do we find real information? Perhaps only from Osorio himself? The confusion may arise from different date fromats in US and rest of the world. 6/8/1961, which in US format would be June 6th 1961 and World format 6th of August 1961. On Spanish wikipedia in 2006 his birthday was 25th of January 1963, in ~2007 it was edited to June 8th 1961.
