Deletion[edit]

Arguing that an empress of Rome must have an entry because she was the last one is a bit strange when nobody even knows here name. There is no substance in this article, just some generalities about dynastic marriages. Should be deleted, or redirected to Julius Nepos. /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 15:54, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The text explaines the theories about her: why she is likely to have been the niece of Verina and why, etc. The identity of an empress is notable. Empresses are automatically notable because of their position. --Aciram (talk) 15:58, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The article Julius Nepos says that he was married to Leo's wife's niece, which earned hem the nickname "nepos". Just wikilink Leo's wife and one has all the information that is available. The tendency of making seperate genealogical entries for everybody's wife or mother has clearly gone too far when even nameless branches in the tree get their own wikipedia articles. /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 16:10, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
She is not notable because she was somebodys wife and mother. She is notable because she was an empress. The position of empress is sufficient ground for relevance.--Aciram (talk) 16:23, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds like you are preparing to produce articles about all the wives of the emperors of Ethiopia. /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 16:35, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I repeat: she is not notable because she is a wife. She is notable because she is an empress. There are theoires about her, which are explained here. I will disregard your question, as it seems personal. Regards--Aciram (talk) 17:31, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
