Infobox

[edit]

The photograph in the infobox should have a caption. Folklore1 (talk) 14:04, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Lead section

[edit]

The following sentence, "It also experiences relatively high water temperatures.", has a clarification tag attached. This can be resolved by stating something a bit more specific than "relatively high". Is the temperature high enough that it would be a problem for coldwater fish? Folklore1 (talk) 14:10, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Folklore1: I changed it to "abnormally high water temperatures", which is the wording used in the article body. How does that sound? --Jakob (talk) 14:17, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. Folklore1 (talk) 14:23, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have changed "Stewardship Township" to "Stewardson Township" Folklore1 (talk) 14:25, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hydraulogy

[edit]

This section has two consecutive sentences beginning with "Acid mine drainage". If the two sentences were restructured and/or combined, it might make for easier reading. Folklore1 (talk) 15:09, 23 September 2014 (UTC)  Done[reply]

Geology and geography

[edit]

The fourth paragraph in this section contains a sentence beginning with a numeric character: "22% of the surface rock". This can be corrected by spelling out the number (except for big numbers that would result in a confusingly long string of words), or restructuring the sentence. Folklore1 (talk) 15:05, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Further down in this section, a sentence begins with "0.25". This could be corrected by restructuring the sentence of changing "0.25" to "A quarter mile". Folklore1 (talk) 15:27, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Watershed

[edit]

The first paragraph of this section is quite busy with sentences that start with a numeric character. In the fifth paragraph, there is a sentence beginning with "48". Folklore1 (talk) 15:43, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

History and industries

[edit]

The ninth paragraph of this section contains a sentence beginning with "16". Folklore1 (talk) 15:59, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Biology

[edit]

The seventh paragraph of this section contains a sentence beginning with "285". Folklore1 (talk) 16:20, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Folklore1: The numbers at the beginnings of sentences (in all the sections) have been fixed now. --Jakob (talk) 18:04, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
A few numbers escaped. I shot 'em with semicolons. I think I got the last of them. Folklore1 (talk) 18:33, 23 September 2014 (UTC)  Done[reply]

Suggestion for continuing improvements

[edit]

Some of the supporting sources for this article are quite long. It would be helpful to readers if the references cited pages where specific information can be found. Please consider this as a recommendation for continuing improvements. I think the article has reached the GA level, so I'm going to approve it now.
