Untitled[edit]

I've seen this guy quite a few times, jumping up on fire hydrants and shouting at the top of his lungs with great fervor. I always just thought he was just another crazy guy, but never knew that he had such an interesting history behind his life. Next time I see him, I'll be comforted to know that he is exactly the kind of person who runs for our political offices nowadays. 216.220.58.7 (talk) 14:31, 21 April 2008 (UTC)Herb[reply]

references[edit]

I've looked up both of the references linking to an external article, neither link works. One just comes up as invalid, and the Centennial College one wasn't working. I even searched for Kevin Clarke on the basic website, and no relevant results were returned. Also, I couldn't find anything like 'chester lee junior public school' on this page. gaidheal1 (talkcontribs) 22:01, 22 February 2010 (UTC) He was involved in Occupy Toronto as well, but media avoided him so it's hard to find anything to back that up, but I know that he was. I've found a page for Chester Lee, it's in Scarborough. http://www.tdsb.on.ca/schools/index.asp?schno=4389 Hmmm... a lot of indie media have covered Clarke in Toronto, but it's hard to find archived stories for those...I'm searching for more and will add it as I find it, because he's definitely a charactar worthy of note, crazy maybe but the example he sets has been empowering to homeless people and has encouraged involvement in in protests, etc., where many homeless used to feel like they didn't belong even though the protests were about them and their issues, it's normal to see homeless people organizing their own rallies in Toronto now, especially since Occupy, instead of university students and middle class activists doing the organizing. He's played an important role in a lot of events with no credit, because a lot of the time he brings a crowd of his own people with him that increases the size of a small rally enough to make it newsworthy, so he's well known among activists, I'm trying to find sources to back this up before I attempt to edit, but it's tricky because media go out of their way to ignore him because they don't like the idea of homeless people as activists. As I find credible, verifiable sources I might post them here if someone else wants to check them and someone else should do the editing because I know him personally so there's a problem with objectivity. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Joybuzzard (talkcontribs) 20:18, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

He also seems to have lived in a tent in the Don Valley at some point: http://v1.theglobeandmail.com/series/outsiders/winter1.html 74.14.97.235 (talk) 20:18, 3 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
