I have simplified the text, by removing the unclear phrase. The phrase stemmed from an attempt of extracting from, rewording and translating this sentence (in Danish): "Efter at have taget Examen artium, philos. et philol. blev han 1797, 16 Aar gammel, ansat som Hører ved Christianssands Skole."
