Why is it not Legge's Tor or just Legge Tor?[edit]

I have seen a reliable source where there is a discussion on whether it should be Legge Tor or Legge Peak. An alternate would be Legge's Tor/Peak but most certainly not "Legges" without the apostrophe (in spite of all that is found on the web). Shyamal (talk) 06:47, 11 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Have moved the article boldly Shyamal (talk) 05:03, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The reference is 100 years old. The peak is named Legges Tor by the nomenclature board of Tasmania, not Legge's Tor. All maps of Tasmania show Legges Tor as the name. As ungrammatical as it is, it is not a wikipedia editor's job to change accepted naming conventions to suit personal preferences. This page has therefore been moved back to Legges Tor. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sean Parker (talkcontribs) 02:04, 8 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
