Cleanup[edit]

I'm game. Why does it need cleanup? One can aruge that there is something of a pro-Memphis bias, I suppose, but why not do some editing to fix it if this is what you think, rather than just tagging it, which anyone can do and does little to improve anything.

i dont think it needs a clean up at all, nor is it pro-memphis. Its the Truth, Bud Adams is a jerk for what he did to us and this article clearly shows that. haha Barcode 02:05, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have cleaned up the article. I have shortened it up considerably, editing down much of the information into a more concise format. Content wasn't much changed. ToddC4176 16:05, 23 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There's some inaccurate information here. The reference to Autozone Park is one case, I believe it was paid for with private funds. I also edited something that I could prove as being incorrect, the statement that Crump Stadium was closer to campus than the Liberty Bowl, and I added the date that the Field Turf was installed.yakk0dotorg

NPOV[edit]

The entire "Legacy" section is opinion, and much of the "Future" section that precedes it is speculation. Violates NPOV. --Zpb52 (talk) 21:01, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Streamline Moderne?[edit]

Has anybody ever said in a reputable article that the Liberty Bowl is a very late example of Streamline Moderne architecture? To me, its very appearance indicates this to be the case, but obviously that is mere opinion on my part, even though the design motifs make it a very accurate opinion, at least to my conceits. If anyone has something like this and could link to it, then it would make a very nice contribution to the quality of the article, but of course, in the absence of reliable sourcing, it would not be. 2600:1004:B14B:B650:795B:88B5:6C9F:7418 (talk) 23:46, 16 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
