Recent rewrite[edit]

The recent rewrite has a lot of problems. It relies heavily on a single source (NTI), which is not always accurately represented. It also claims to address all WMD, but overlooks the fact that Libya actually possesses chemical weapons and long-range (MTCR Category I) ballistic missiles. Libya signed the CWC and is in the process of destroying its chemical weapons, but this was behind schedule and has been delayed further by the ongoing fighting. It will take a lot of work to fix all this. NPguy (talk) 02:35, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Despite recent revisions by me and another editor, this article still needs significant help. It relies far too heavily on a small number of sources, which it does not always interpret faithfully.NPguy (talk) 15:43, 4 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Chemical weapons update needed[edit]

This article needs an update to reflect the recent (post Gadhafi) disclosure of previously undeclared chemical weapons. NPguy (talk) 15:44, 4 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
