IMDb[edit]

Would IMDb be considered a good source for episodes? Jaxsonista (talk) 20:21, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No, the IMDb is also not a good source for episodes as TV.com, because everyone can add episodes there without that it is right or not. -- Serienfan2010 (talk) 20:34, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks Jaxsonista (talk) 15:30, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
IMDb is never reliable for bio info. IMDb is never reliable for unaired episode info. Aired ep info is a bit more complex.
The authoritative information about episodes that have aired and the credits for those episodes is the episode itself. We generally use IMDb as a convenient source of info on aired episodes with the assumption that all information there is entered by people who have viewed the episode but the info is ultimately backed up by the contents of the aired episode, not IMDb. IMDb itself does some fact checking but how much is not disclosed by them. For example, I have found fan created character names in IMDb for some shows that were never sourced by anything except fan invention. I have been through the IMDb update process to fix some of these based on real show info, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. --Geraldo Perez (talk) 19:50, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

IMDb again[edit]

Why can't we put Sierra McCormick's imdb name if we can put Carlon's? Jaxsonista (talk) 03:37, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Production codes[edit]

Can we remove all the references for the prod. codes for Season 1 since they're all now supported by TheFutonCritic.com? Jaxsonista (talk) 17:48, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

What's Happened[edit]

Why is there a bunch of episodes in the External links section??--Mjs1991 (talk) 04:45, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

An edit broke the table. Usually caused by someone deleting the table end token "|}" as happened here. Common problem with people trying to add stuff to the end of a table. Fixed. --Geraldo Perez (talk) 04:48, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal to split article into separate season articles[edit]

No consensus for a split

It is proposed that the individual season information be split into articles titled A.N.T. Farm (season 1), A.N.T. Farm (season 2), and A.N.T: Farm (season 3) leaving this article as a season summary article. A [[#Proposal to split be spilt up, it will be good. --Liam0035 (talk) 11:35, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Support per WP:SIZERULE. — Confession0791 talk 02:57, 12 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - WP:SIZERULE doesn't support a split. It refers to readable prose size, not the file size. Strictly speaking, there is only 1.4kB of readable prose in this article. Even using a very loose interpretation of 'readable prose", there is only just over 25kB of prose in the article, which is well below SIZRERULE's "Length alone does not justify division" 40kB limit. This article has other issues that need fixing before considering a split. I've addressed some.[1] --AussieLegend () 09:18, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose The only Disney Channel series I've found that is divided up is Hannah Montana, and it was divided because of Miley Cyrus and controversial sections. The size alone isn't enough to support the WP:SIZERULE, which is clearly defined as word length and not file size. Bigddan11 (talk) 17:56, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose If the episode descriptions are all in one place, it will make it more readable and convenient, and you don't need to skip from place to place to read something of another season. Moreover, the size isn't much to split it into three. Vinay.iyer1 (talk) 13:45, 7 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Split[edit]

no concensus to split

We should split the article as per WP:EPISODE. It has enough episodes to be split apart. Mouseinphilly (talk) 21:47, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose It does not need to be spli. Once the show gets to 4 season then maybe. Most episode pages get split after 4 season or if there is alot of info in one place. It all depends on the show and other details. Alot of shows here only get one page. Other shows that do get season pages, are special cases. This episode list needs to be left alone. WP Editor 2012 (talk) 20:48, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support I think that it should be spilt into three articles I agree.--Liam0035 07:04, 2 November 2013 (UTC)
  • Oppose for the same reasons stated in the previous discussion. WP:EPISODE doesn't justify splitting the article and there simply is not enough content to justify a split at this time. --AussieLegend () 20:35, 4 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Emphasis[edit]

I'm not sure who decided to use {{em}} here, but I don't think it's appropriate here, as the italics is pretty much just visual formatting irrelevant for screen reader users. nyuszika7h (talk) 13:07, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That was likely me. There was a transition period of trying to get people away from using bold for Starring and use italics for Starring per MOS:BOLD so started using {{em}} to encourage that. Probably unnecessary now as it is just visual formatting with no real semantic meaning (unlike the "is" in this sentence). Geraldo Perez (talk) 14:26, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I believe I put them in there, around this time last year when switching from boldface (thanks to User:Wikipedical), which used to be around the guest stars, notes, etc. But it's ok to switch it to the italics, which was intended. MPFitz1968 (talk) 16:07, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia[edit]

While editing the season 1 section (haven't gotten to the others yet) I noticed a lot of notes that seem to be WP:TRIVIA. Are those really needed? That's more for sites like Wikia which may provide in-depth information on individual episodes even when they are not notable enough to have their own article on Wikipedia. nyuszika7h (talk) 12:32, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A lot of that trivia is really unnecessary. Need to use editor judgement as to where to draw the line though as to what is trivia and what is not. Geraldo Perez (talk) 15:53, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A lot of unsourced, non-notable trivia removed[edit]

See my edit. Decided to clean up the article of all assorted trivia notes in the summaries, plus mentions of songs featured. To me it appeared like a bunch of indiscriminate information and/or fan cruft. MPFitz1968 (talk) 17:41, 1 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
