Beta chapter[edit]

The original and short-lived Beta chapter was at the Richmond Women's College. Was this the institution that was soon called Westhampton college, a women's school that coordinated with Richmond College, and which later combined with Westhampton to create the University of Richmond? Or was it a separate institution? The dates for college (and chapter) activity are slightly off, with an apparent founding year of 1914 for Westhampton but I wonder if there was a separate school under the Richmond Women's College name or which was a predecessor. The Westhampton name appears several times in historical records.

Additionally, Iota chapter was formed at the University of Richmond in 1905. Was there a connection? Jax MN (talk) 17:58, 10 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
