Merger Proposal[edit]

Formal request has been received to merge List of defunct airlines of Serbia into List of airlines of Serbia. Rationale: Neither article is very long and they have the same general information as each other. 69.118.34.185 (talk) 13:19, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose - makes no sense picking one ammong the articles of all countries, and merging it. Have you took a look at the same articles of other European and world countries? The case of Serbia is somewhere in line of the average ammount of airlines at both, current and former. This is something that either should be done overall in all equal articles of all countries along some criterium (exemple, lists of countries with less than 10 airlines to be merged), or then doesn´t make sense doing it just in this case. Oppose it is normal practice to have the current and defunct airlines in seperate lists, I dont see any reason why Serbia should be different. MilborneOne (talk) 12:46, 23 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
