The list on the German wiki is much better, if someone could translate it. We should keep the regnal lists (Kush, Makouria, Nobadia, Aloudia, Dotawo) separate, though, and just link between the pages. -LlywelynII (talk) 08:31, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

Makuria

hello there,

I wonder how the ruler makuria is not an ethiopian...? because makuria meaning in amharic to be proud of...,someone that can be depend on him in hebrew אחד שאפשר להתגאות בו,שאפשר להסתמך עליו(יכול להיות יכולת כוחנות,הגנה וכו')ו in amharic it can be written like መኩሪያ and when i see all the other rulers' name the names are widespread names in ethiopia still today...so i guess this ruler should be ethiopian for his origin.
