Neutrality issues[edit]

I question the NPV of this article, with such lines as "With no substantive Chairman and Director General, he stabilised the organisation as it faced the biggest crisis in its history.". There are various views around whether Mark's temporary leadership helped or hindered the organization. --204.14.153.123 (talk) 00:11, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I also question the NPV of this article and would cite the following examples to back up my claim:

  • During this period Byford played a key role in developing "Building Public Value" the BBC's Charter Renewal manifesto.
  • Under Byford's leadership, the BBC's journalism services have built audiences to record levels with a weekly reach of more than 80% of the UK population and more than 200 million people worldwide, and won numerous Emmy, BAFTA, Royal Television Society, Sony Radio and Webby internet awards.

Maybe this is all true, but it reads like a CV and needs citations. I'd do it myself but I don't know enough about the man. Tessaroithmost (talk) 14:24, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
