Birthdate? Place of Birth?[edit]

I made an infobox and added two references, having had to remove the one attempt there, as it was a dead link, but still, his faculty page at Berklee doesn't list his birthdate or place of birth. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 22:31, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

Two closely related websites (his employer) and an interview (not a reliable source) to not provide anything in the way of notability. Since he doesn't have the coverage for the general notability guideline, in what way does he meet WP:ACADEMIC? --Bejnar (talk) 08:19, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Matt Glaser is the founder of the strings department at a major music school, a teacher, performer, commentator, and consultant on many PBS documentaries, has played on Grammy-winning recordings, was given the prestigious "Artist Teacher Award" by the American String Teachers Association, which has been given to a small group of notable musicians, including Isaac Stern, Yehudi Menuhin, and Pablo Casals. --Atannen (talk) 18:53, 24 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
