March 2022[edit]

The McDonalds restaurants are still open. The west media publishes only that McDonalds closed, but they still are open and McDonalds Russia became under new CEO independent. https://mcdonalds.ru/mcdonalds_in_russia --77.241.232.1 (talk) 10:52, 11 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Separate article[edit]

Maybe it should be created as a separate article, as it was done in the Russian Wikipedia? The articles have already been written in Norwegian and French. Roman Kubanskiy (talk) 19:45, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Depends on how much we consider this new chain and the former McD subsidiary separate topics. ruwiki looks to be the only one with different articles for both topics. Glades12 (talk) 06:31, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate files[edit]

Someone uploaded a duplicate file of the company logo exactly (!) one hour after my upload of the one used here. The files strangely ended up with different aspect ratios too, with mine from the BBC being 16:9 and the dupe from VK being a perfect square. How do we deal with this?
