Voicing[edit]

The voicing on this article needs to be changed to a more neutral manner, it's written as if it's written by one of the characters. "Loves a burn as much as the next guy," is a perfect example. PitchBrick 00:05, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is Kelso's species a necessary field on this particular profile?--SCJE (talk) 05:19, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kelso is commonly, like, a dog's name or something like that.

Fair use rationale for Image:Michael kelso.jpg[edit]

Image:Michael kelso.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 21:51, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Age[edit]

Kelso repeated 1st grade and is year older than the rest of the gang... so why does the article say he was born in 1959? (the same year as the rest of the gang) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.5.140.139 (talk) 21:38, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I agree. In the Halloween episode when they find all the permanent records, it is revealed that Kelso is a year older than everyone else. Hyde gets angry when he realizes that Kelso, being of legal age, could've been buying them beer.
Weirdness: go to google and search for "how old is michael kelso". Google says he's born 1958, but the Wikipedia page says 1959. ~~ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.211.156.10 (talk) 19:21, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's fixed now. They both read the same. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.247.244.120 (talk) 00:24, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

infobox[edit]

this page seems to use a different infobox from the other characters from the show. 69.122.146.84 (talk) 05:40, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't get when it says "Kelso failed kindergarten for his refusal to write in penus"[edit]

What does that mean!! Because he refused to write in penus he failed third grade. That's what it says.

Middle name[edit]

when do they ever say that his middle name is Elliot? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.151.3.229 (talk) 20:14, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Revise sentence?[edit]

"Later, he almost shot Steven Hyde in the shoulder, but Hyde led Kelso to believe that Kelso had actually shot him in the eye so to get Kelso back Hyde led Kelso to become so guilty that he let Hyde shoot him with a BB gun only to show Kelso he hadn't been shot in the eye and Hyde shot him in the butt."

In personality. This has got to be one of the most unnecessarily confusing sentences I've ever read. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.166.241.119 (talk) 14:27, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple issues[edit]

This article seems to have been well-intended, but it's got some issues... it's largely written "in-universe", as if the characters are real people instead of fictional creations. As mentioned above, there are also issues with informal language, and there may be some ongoing issues regarding folks inserting unnecessary or extraneous information. Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted because nothing in the article violates and wikipedia standards 76.90.16.81 (talk) 03:58, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The page does not qualify for speedy deletion, nor should the content have been deleted. The article has been restored and the deletion tag removed. --AussieLegend (talk) 04:40, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Family[edit]

I thought Kelso has more than one brother than Casey Kelso (Luke Wilson). In 5x14 Your Time Is Gonna Come, Annette (Jessica Simpson) suspected one of Kelso's brothers took a picture of her in the bathroom. Eric answered, "I thought all of your brothers were out." Michael KelsoKelso (That '70s Show) – He is always called Kelso in the show; not sure about out-of-universe sources. How often is he called Michael Kelso? And don't tell me that naturality overcomes commonality or that Fry (Futurama) is a bad title. --George Ho (talk) 18:41, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose Jackie calls him Michael. 70.49.127.65 (talk) 04:21, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Don't tell me what arguments I cannot use, especially not when they're perfectly valid. Natural disambiguation is preferred to parenthetical, and the Fry move was in error. Powers T 18:19, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    • If it's an error, why not taking "Fry" to WP:move review then? --George Ho (talk) 09:23, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
      • The closure correctly found a consensus for the move; there's nothing to review. I continue to assert that the consensus opinion, though, was poorly founded, against usual practice, and inappropriately favored consistency over other principles. Powers T 14:14, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose since different characters call him by different names. Not having seen all of the episodes, I believe Jackie and Kitty both call him Michael. Also there the character's brother, Casey Kelso, which the proposal move would make confusing. The natural disambiguation is preferable to the parentheses.
