Health in 2007[edit]

Is Mississippi Slim dead? According to http://www.bolivarcom.com/NF/omf/bolivar/news_story.html?rkey=0027180+cr=gdn he is going to be playing at a summer festival. Freber1977 10:31, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

Mississippi Slim is in Greenville, Miss. right now. Just saw him on channel 6 WABG News. I saw him on the news footage and have met him recently. A local blues bar held a fund-raising event to help Slim last night. He is suffering from internal bleeding and of course has medical bills to pay. He is unable to travel due to health. Looked fairly well and can still play a little bit. Still has half purple half pink hair, two different color gator shoes, and wild suits.
