Wide field image needed[edit]

With NGCs 147 and 185 accepted as companions of M31 (Andromeda Galaxy), we need a wide field photo that captures all three galaxies in the one image, to show their relative sizes and positions. This comment placed in talk for both NGCs 147 and 185. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:8003:E422:3C01:FD20:81AE:225A:3F4 (talk) 08:52, 15 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Bit more description needed.[edit]

This is from the description of NGC 147:

It forms a physical pair with the nearby galaxy NGC 185,[5] another remote satellite of M31. It was discovered by John Herschel in September 1829. Visually it is both fainter and slightly larger than NGC 185 (and therefore has a considerably lower surface brightness). This means that NGC 147 is more difficult to see than NGC 185, which is visible in small telescopes

This should be modified to reflect the data for THIS galaxy (185) and added into the corresponding location. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:8003:E422:3C01:FD20:81AE:225A:3F4 (talk) 08:56, 15 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
