Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on NOTS-EV-1 Pilot. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

Better information from a much better source

[edit]

I have edited this using a much more reliable source. I am a subscriber to the Smithsonian Air & Space magazine. I enjoy it but am very reluctant to cite it without additional sources because it is less than reliable. Magnificent Mavericks is a far more reliable source than Air & Space. Babcock cites her sources which is not. a strong point of Air & Space. Especially when dealing with reports of highly classified projects such as Argus and NOTSNIK what is published by unclassified sources at the time is very suspect. Air & Space is responsible enough to print retractions and corrections when they are pointed out to them. Elisabeth Babcock does continue with further information some of which might be supportive of the possibility of a NOTSNIK orbiting but is also questionable to the extent that it is undocumented except informally. The elaboration upon the first part is driven by the fact that the China Lake historian refers to the project by the NOTSNIK title. Mark Lincoln (talk) 21:41, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
