"the new provincial government tried to wipe out French in Newfoundland with much success". Without a citation, this is pure POV, but I don't know enough to change it appropriately. Someone please do so.

Dictionnaire du Français de Terre-Neuve
[edit]I found two delicious sources for expansion, however I don’t have the time right now, so I’m putting these on the talk page in the hope someone else might take up the mantle. Source texts are in French: Dictionnaire des Régionalismes de Saint-Pierre et Miquelon and Dictionnaire des Régionalismes du Français de Terre-Neuve.
Obviously the first text might necessitate a new article on SPM French Dialect, though it might contain information on evolution of T-N French. — Muckapedia (talk) 2e fév. 2014 16h48 (−4h)
