Nicholas Mosley, 3rd Baron RavensdaleNicholas Mosley – He is by far the most famous Nicholas Mosley. The only other one on Wikipedia is a little known 16th century mayor who didn't have an article until a couple of months ago. Also, he is never known by his title as Lord Ravensdale. This article should be the primary topic. The disambiguation page should be deleted and a hatnote used to direct anyone who was looking for the mayor, on the rare occasion that anyone is. • Support. Firstly, this Nicholas Mosley is the clear primary topic, as can bee seen by page views (2108 vs 152) and a search of the google news archives. Agree the dab page can then be deleted per WP:TWODABS. Secondly, he is much more commonly known without the title and WP:NCROY defers to COMMONNAME (see "It is generally advisable to use the most common form of the name used in reliable sources in English" and the exceptions listed at WP:NCPEER). • Support - clearly the primary topic (I've now replaced the dab page with an explicit hatnote per WP:TWODABS), and clearly meets the exception at WP:NCPEER (almost exclusively known without the title - this is how he's known as a novelist, his notable activity), so no reason to include the unnecessary disambiguator. --Kotniski (talk) 10:28, 9 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"Issue"?[edit]

Do we really want a section called "Marriage and issue"? Is there not a more normal word in English than "issue" in this context, like "children"? 86.170.217.64 (talk) 14:14, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree: "issue" is legalese. So I've changed it. Anyone who disagrees violently can revert. Paul Magnussen (talk) 00:17, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Headstone image file[edit]

The typo in the filename needs fixing (it has 'Mosely'). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:de:df13:f10:f867:f014:ff36:5e8c (talk) 19:19, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have requested that the file be renamed on Commons. Thank you for spotting this. DuncanHill (talk) 19:30, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
