I have made minor alterations to the section on 'possible Sami origins', a weasel-worded heading for what amounts to some neutral facts presented in such a way as to advance a point of view, with no reliable sources to back the thesis up (the random website linked to is not a reliable source...I am sure I can find a website claiming that longships were based on UFO designs used by Nordic aliens) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.8.131.52 (talk) 14:49, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
I agree. Shouldn't the Sami have iron tools before they start to build boats?
If I had access to the source that claims this, I bet it says Finns or Kven in the sagas. It is not fair that the Finns and Kvens should be written out of history this way, by renaming them Sami. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.108.40.206 (talk) 09:05, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
