Is there any US census-related reason to putting this information on *3* different pages? It strikes me that Oil Springs should be all on just one page - there are only 11 people there, none of whom are native anyway...—Preceding unsigned comment added by Brianski (talk • contribs)

Oil Spring Reservation or Oil Springs Reservation?[edit]

I read about this reservation in a book about Governor Blacksnake and the author spelled the Reservation's name "Oil Spring Reservation." Also the current US Code calls it Oil Spring [1], and it was listed as such in the 1890 census (p. 28, [2]). For now I will just add Oil Spring as another name. Decided to add this sentence to History section:

The U.S. Census of 1890 lists the name of the reservation as Oil Spring Reservation. It is unclear when the reservation's name was changed to Oil Springs.^[1] Sharp-shinned.hawk (talk) 21:01, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
