I think I have dealt with some concerns about this article. Maybe it could do with further improvement, but I don't think that should be too difficult given the publicity the case generated at the time. I note that there are no BLP concerns with the article. Patrick Meehan[edit]

This tells half a story .This case made Scottish legal history but my edit adding that fact has been removed by admin as has the Title of Meehans book and quotes from it .It is also false to say Patrick made claims in later life ..he was clear from the start that he believed his framing was to do with his time in East Berlin and this is logged by Ludovic Kennedy and Chapman Pincher .Admin also removed my edit regarding the rigging of the I.D parade ..this was the basis of his Pardon ! This is documented in The Hunter report .I also have the original letter from the Scottish council of civil liberties which my edits quoting from it have also been removed by admin .! For an explanation of what was removed and why, see User talk:BrownHairedGirl#Patrick_Meehan_edits (permalink).
Penpalz is a new editor who needs some guidance on how to contribute to Wikipedia. I hope they will follow up on some of the suggestions I have made. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 01:00, 11 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
