Smithsonian Institution Low‑importance

My comments about the B-29 are based on facts as related on the Garber website. I'm guessing about the "biggest job" but it's a guess based on facts. I also knew some people who worked there. They told me that the B-29 severely taxed the facility's resources. The actual restoration building is relatively small and there aren't very many technicians to do the work. As you might guess, technicians of "Garber" caliber are hard to find (many called, few chosen...etc) and keep what with government pay scales and the wages offered by private industry. It's a labor of love and those of us who know about it appreciate what they can do. (Work miracles, sometimes!)--Phyllis1753 (talk) 00:23, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Broken link in footnote[edit]

Hiya...the link for the third footnote is broken. I did a quick search for another source, but couldn't find the exact story. This blurb from the Prince George's County, MD Fire Department was the best I could find: http://pgfdpio.blogspot.com/2010/02/smithsonian-museum-support-center-among.html
