Talk[edit]
Technical point Cramer named many species but did little to organis (classify) them. Notafly
- We who have to put names on butterflies still use Cramer's 1770s publications. We should push for somebody or some organization to digitalize the entire work and "put" it on the internet. It is our collective heritage. Luckily, the museum where I work has a full original copy. --Wloveral (talk) 17:15, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
I'm wondering if this line in the first paragraph doesn't need correcting: "....his book on outlandish butterflies." Doesn't the word "outlandish" seem innappropriate here? HaarFager (talk) 05:15, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
