Sources differ on the history of the Carter line.

From http://www.pineywoodscattle.org/id19.html --

"The Carter family, for example, can document that since 1810 no cattle have been allowed in or out of their farm."

whereas http://www.kerrcenter.com/overstreet/heritage_breeds.htm says:

"No outside genetics have been introduced to the herd since 1895."

Copyvio[edit]

Part of the problem here is a 2010 PRCBA article that mirrors the content added here in 2008, but nonetheless, another part is that this article copied from two earlier PRCBA publications (2007). Too intertwined for me to sort. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 01:30, 21 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Could you perhaps provide links to those three pages, SandyGeorgia? I took a quick look, but in that time was able to identify only this source, the degree of copying of which is in itself amply enough to justify the complete blanking of the article. I might perhaps rewrite this if I can locate a couple of sources. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 17:44, 23 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I've stubbed, Justlettersandnumbers, in case you want to rebuild at all. Alas, I know nothing about Pineywoods cattle. :/ --14:49, 24 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
